2007 DKM - Second Runnerup - Longs Peak Pils
Coming in close to the wire for the 2007 Doug King Memorial was Thorton, CO's Rick Bobbitt and his Longs Peak Pils, a Northern German inspired brew. Thanks to folks like Rick, the DKM has grown leaps and bounds!
Rick's Pils was described by the judges as a pale gold and beautifully clear pilsner. The beer is crisp and lightly grainy with a bright, clean and lingering bitterness.
