Notes

Steve Cook, Veep of the Falcons, jumped on up to lead a brew day at the shop and lead the first decoction on the new shop deck. All reports indicate that a small crew worked hard to keep on stirring.

From Steve Cook's notes:

When doing the docoction for the protein rest heat through a protein and sac rest for 20 mins each then boil for 30 mins.

Add rice hulls (5 lbs) at the beginning of the mash.

Pitched two kinds of yeast White Labs WLP 380 from prior brew and WYeast 3056 from BJ's Brewery, approximately 1 cup each per 6 gals.
