This beer is the first attempt to copy a special variety of Guinness only made for export from Ireland to Belgium. Those bottles of Guinness Foreign Stout you buy here in the US? Not the same thing. Belgian Guinness is a richer smoother brew with the classic roast bite of Guinness with a longer malt middle and a large feeling 7.5% ABV.
